Alice Morgan – Communications Manager
Alice started with Keep Australia Beautiful in August 2012 after a myriad of roles which have included marketing for educational publishing, product development for 20th Century Fox, project management in the voluntary and community sector during the 6 years she lived in England, as well as being camouflaged behind a giant pile of paper in local government.
Alice graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 with a Master in Media Practice after completing her Bachelor of Arts in English and Gender Studies. She has also studied Animal Care and Husbandry at TAFE when she wanted to be like David Attenborough.
Being of Eastern European birth, growing up in Perth, and now having settled in the Blue Mountains, she spends her life outside of work with her Husky, her deaf cat that talks too much, her ‘best in show’ rex rabbit, and newly acquired chickens. She prefers animals to people any day (except poodles and seagulls.)
For now, Alice is thrilled (and a little bit honoured) to be working for an organisation like Keep Australia Beautiful. She grew up with the adverts in the 1980s, and was educated to always Do the Right Thing. She feels very lucky to be part of such an incredible, and devoted team. Alice loves the environment second to cute furry creatures, her favourite season is autumn so she can frolic in the leaves, and when she grows up she would like to grow her own food, keep some bees, and raise a billy goat called Shirley.
