Clarendon Vale Primary School Recognised by [Local Media] for Inspiring Mural & Environmental Message

Clarendon Vale Primary School has captured media attention after being featured by Channel 7, celebrating their participation in Keep Australia Beautiful’s Paint Australia Beautiful 2025 competition.

The school’s mural, created by Grades 5 and 6 students, highlights Tasmania’s biodiversity and the strong community values that define Clarendon Vale. Inspired by the school’s thriving garden and nearby Kunanyi / Mt Wellington, the artwork features local wildlife, plants and a tree made of student hand-prints, a symbol of connection and environmental care.

This recognition from Channel 7 showcases how the school uses art to teach sustainability, teamwork and pride in community.
