Williams Primary School has been recognised in the Narrogin Observer for their inspiring entry in Keep Australia Beautiful’s Paint Australia Beautiful 2025 Schools Mural Competition.

Representing Western Australia as a state finalist, the school’s mural, titled Our Beautiful Country, celebrates the beauty of the Wheatbelt region and the community’s deep connection to the land. Created collaboratively by students across all year levels, the artwork brings together themes of sustainability, biodiversity, and cultural pride, reflecting the school’s strong focus on environmental awareness and community spirit.

The mural not only adds vibrant colour to the school grounds but also serves as a lasting reminder of the importance of caring for Country β€” starting right in their own backyard.
