NATIONAL TIDY TOWNS AWARDS
2 – 4 May 2025
Beechworth, Victoria
For over 50 years, Keep Australia Beautiful’s Tidy Towns Awards have been recognising and rewarding initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable, resilient and beautiful Australia.
The Tidy Towns name has always been synonymous with community pride and community action. The awards encourage, motivate, and celebrate the sustainability achievements of grassroots rural and regional communities across Australia.
In addition to a healthy dose of competition, the National Tidy Towns Awards bring together community leaders, environmental champions, young legends and waste warriors from every corner of our country to share experiences, learn from and inspire each other.
This is the true Tidy Towns spirit.

Join us in the picturesque gold-rush town of Beechworth, Victoria from 2 – 4 May 2025 for the 2025 Keep Australia Beautiful Australian Tidy Town Awards! Hosted by the 2024 Autralian Tidy Towns winner, Beechworth, this event promises to be a memorable and inspiring experience where we will showcase the fantastic projects undertaken by our state finalists, learn from each other’s experiences and announce the deserving winners. Don’t miss out on this chance to be a part of a celebration of environmental stewardship and community pride.
WHAT ARE THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS?

Our iconic Tidy Towns Sustainability Awards began in Western Australia way back in 1968, and has evolved into a national award celebrating community led environmental action in rural and regional Australia.
Every year, overall winners from each state and territory qualify to take out the coveted Tidy Towns national title.
An award ceremony brings together community leaders, environmental sustainability champions, young legends and waste warriors to share experiences, celebrate achievements and learn from and inspire one another.
